Use Keep Fix Upgrade in Claude or ChatGPT

Keep Fix Upgrade has a free connector for AI assistants. Add it once and you can ask Claude or ChatGPT things like "what rebates can I get for a heat pump hot water system in 2250?" and your assistant reads the same rebate and council research this site uses, with a link to each scheme. No signup, no API key and no cost.

Add it to Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Keep Fix Upgrade and paste this address:
    https://keepfixupgrade.com/api/mcp
  3. Click Add. There is no login to set up. Then ask Claude about upgrading your home.

Add it to ChatGPT

Custom connectors in ChatGPT sit behind a developer mode switch.

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Apps and Connectors, then Advanced settings, and turn on Developer mode.
  2. Choose Create, name it Keep Fix Upgrade and paste this address:

  3. Pick no authentication, save, then ask ChatGPT about upgrading your home.

What your assistant can look up

  • Your address: give it your street address and it finds your council and postcode, then lists every rebate that applies to your home and your council's free programs.
  • Rebates for an upgrade: the federal, NSW and council rebates for insulation, heat pump hot water, solar, batteries, split system air conditioning and more, worked out for your postcode and council.
  • Free local programs: where your council takes soft plastics, e-waste, paint and gas bottles, plus repair cafés, food scraps bins, library membership and discounted compost bins.
  • The upgrades we cover: every upgrade in the home check, with a plain English description of each.

Things worth asking:

  • "I live at 40 Mann Street, Gosford and have gas hot water. What rebates can I get?"
  • "I have gas hot water in Inner West Council. What would I get back for a heat pump?"
  • "What rebates are there for a home battery in postcode 2259 if I already have solar?"
  • "Where can I recycle soft plastics and old paint on the Central Coast?"

Your assistant does the talking, and assistants can get things wrong. Rebates change often, so open the linked scheme page before you sign a quote.
